The Blu-Eye system is a system that detects when a vehicle of the emergency services is approaching your location. You will get a visible and audible signal. The Blu-Eye system is receiving the signals form the c2000 communication system that all ambulances, fire trucks and police cars (including undercover police cars) are using.
When the system is giving an alarm, you know that one of these cars is in your area, and you can take action and be more vigilant. Since many accidents with cars of the emergency services occur, this system is improving safety for everyone. Especially when driving on autopilot, it is not a secret that drivers are giving less attention to the road as they should be doing.
The system is fully legal in all countries in Europe, since it is only warning of nearby emergency services. Therefore enhancing safety. The system works in all countriues where the TETRA (c2000) system is used. Currently all of Western Europe, except France and Switserland are using TETRA systems.
Tesland is official dealer of Blu-Eye, which means we are supported by the manufactorer and we are fully certified to install the system in all vehicles, but because of our experience with Tesla we have knowledgo how to install the system in your Tesla, without interfering with the car systems.
