You might have a Model S from late 2015 with a Pre-Facelift front, but it could already have the chassis of the Facelift version. To be sure if you can use this battery, remove the trunk liner or remove the trim under the windshield on the passenger side.

A battery must be replaced when it no longer provides sufficient power.

You can test this yourself by simultaneously turning on multiple power consumers.

It is advisable to regularly check the condition of the 12V battery.
