Model Y - Paint Protection Film (PPF) for the Rear Doors

To apply the film, you must first clean the car thoroughly. It is best to first repair any stone chip pits with our touch-up pens. Of course, that is no longer possible once the film has been applied.

• The bottle is already filled with a slip solution to apply the film wet. This must be filled with water. Fill it halfway, so you have the correct ratio
• Spray the liquid on the area where the film is to be applied and also on your hands (With wet hands you are less likely to get fingerprints if you touch the film on the back.
• Detach the film from the backing and also apply the slip solution to the back of the film.
• Apply the film to the wet door, but do not press it down.
• Align it with the bottom and back. It is best to ensure that the film remains a few millimeters inside the edge of the door.
• When the film is in place, use the squeegee to rub the liquid and air bubbles away from the center.
• Let the film dry and do not use a high-pressure sprayer or car wash for the first time.
