Model X - Foot Sensor for the Trunk Lid

Foot sensor for the electric trunk of the Model X.

A foot sensor is indispensable if you arrive with your hands full and need to put those things in your trunk. You move your foot under the bumper and the trunk opens. This is also useful if you need to take something large out of the trunk. A movement with your foot under the bumper is enough to close the trunk.

If someone tries this without a key, it will of course not work.

To install this foot sensor, you must remove and replace various trim parts and the rear bumper. The system is equipped with suitable plugs that are plug and play. The existing wiring is therefore not damaged.

This product can also be installed by our mechanics in our workshop.
