Lojack Benelux introduces Lojack Connect, a fleet management system that works using the GSM and GPS network.
With the Lojack Connect App you have the information about the location of your car and your ride administration available at all times .
How is LoJack Connect different from Lojack SVR?
Lojack SVR is the Stolen Vehicle Recovery system by Lojack. SVR works with the VHF radio network from Lojack. It is specifically intended for retrieving your vehicle after it has been stolen. This after-theft system is installed invisibly in your vehicle and it does not have the possibility to register your rides.
The LoJack Connect system is ideal for you if you want to keep track of your rides administration and keep track of the location of your car at all times. The Connect system can work both independently and in combination with the after-theft system.
Is the connect system a security system?
You can indeed see the Connect system as an extra security. Car thieves use GSM and GPS jammers in some cases. The combination of the VLC system with the Connect system can increase the chance of finding your vehicle back after it has been stolen. There are insurance companies that require this combination of the SVR with the Connect system for specific classes of cars.
What is the LoJack Connect app?
The LoJack Connect app is a user-friendly way that gives you insight into the current location of your car via the internet. In addition, it offers you the possibility to look back on the routes that have been driven.
You also have the possibility to:
- make reports and print them out
- export data to Excel or PDF format
- classify rides (private, residential / work, business)
- add comments (eg for your tax return)
How is the LoJack Connect system installed?
Tesland is an authorized LoJack dealer and if you purchase the system through us, you can make an appointment with us for the installation of the system. The installation and testing of the LoJack Connect takes about one hour. After installation you will receive the login details of your LoJack Connect app by e-mail the same working day.
